South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Delivers Live Events with TriCaster
––NewTek Announces Sixth Year at SXSW Live Streaming Content––
AUSTIN, TX–March 20, 2015–NewTek™today announced that TriCaster multi-camera video production systems, have been selected by the SXSW® Festival to stream panel conferences, interviews, music performances and other show events throughout the week. This is the sixth year SXSW has relied on TriCaster for critical content publishing and live streaming from the massive gathering.
“Brands, artists and marketers have one goal at SXSW, and that’s to reach current fans and gain new audiences,” said Philip Nelson, chief relationship officer for NewTek. “TriCaster enables SXSW to produce HD network-style TV content and share it with the world. It’s a perfect way to touch all of these new audiences with both live and archived video. With four TriCasters installed throughout three large audience rooms and a master control room, SXSW is working around the clock to capture and stream presentations and then share them later in the week. TriCaster is also powering the SXSW 2015 International Day Stage, which will feature musical performances from artists around the world, streamed live March 18 - 21 at http://sxsw.com/music/festival/international-day-stage.

From a studio control room, a desktop in a conference hall or a cart in the front-of-house, TriCaster provides the ability to switch between multiple cameras, inputs and previously recorded media content—with titles, motion graphics and effects—while simultaneously delivering live content to broadcast television, online streaming platforms and mobile devices.
